I was alone and wandering on a busy street and got hit by a car! Lucky Cat came to my rescue and got me all fixed up. My jaw had been broken but I healed quite nicely! I am sweet and lovey and would love to share the rest of my life with you!

Hello: I am a very personable fellow. I was living on the streets in Baltimore until a nice lady stopped at a red light and I said hi. She asked if I wanted to be an indoor cat and well, I really did, so I walked over and you know what, she picked me up and put me in a box. That was a bit unnerving, I was not sure what was going to happen next but she had such a kind face I thought I'd trust her. AM I glad I did.
The first few hours were a bit scarey. I was given to another lady then went to I found out later "the vet" well you know what happened there. We don't need to go into that! But since then it's been great. I sleep indoors and nice people visit and care for me. I get fed and it's warm, I have a blanket to lay on and well I am just so happy. It's almost perfect.
I know I should be grateful and I am but I sure would like to have a family of my very own. Do you have room in your heart for me??? I have room in my heart for you.

I was only trying to find shelter under a porch, however, the resident kitty didn't like me there and tried to attack me. The nice lady who lived there rescued me and took me to Lucky Cat Rescue.

When I found the nice lady who was feeding me, she thought I was sweet and loving, she soon learned this to be true. She cared for me till Lucky Cat Rescue could take me to one of the nice foster homes.
When I got to the vet, they discovered I had already been neutered, telling them my story of how my previous home discarded me.
I just want a home where I can feel safe, having nice people to love me and I can love.

I was really lucky, I was rescued the day Hurricane Irene came rolling into town. I had kittens and was expecting another litter. If I had not been rescued, I would have probably lost my babies and well as my own life. Thank you for decent, caring people!
After having most of my kittens (check out Kringle and Comet on the kitten page, I am proud of my beautiful babies) adopted to their forever homes, it is now my turn. I am laid back, good with other cats. Can I be your new snuggle buddy? I have lots of love to give and want that special person to find me.

I had a family once, and I miss them, I don't know why they moved and threw me away like trash. I was living on the streets with my friend it was terrible. Sometimes the people living in my old neighborhood would put food out, sometimes some of them would just chase us away.
We really wanted to live inside, outside is NOT nice. It's cold and there are other animals out there and they didn't like us. Then one day a nice lady saw us, I regret to say eating out of a garbage can. She stopped her car and called to us and asked if we wanted to be Lucky Cats. Well we didn't know what that was but she was nice and kind looking so we said yes. What a lucky day for us.
We have not been outside since and there is always food, kind people and it's warm. My friend got adopted and I am still waiting for a forever home. I would like one please with kind people, beds to sleep on and please never abandon me, I won't leave you. I really need a family to love can it be you??? Please.

Our names are Emo and Kitteh. Our foster parents think that we really should be called Calvin and Hobbes because we are best friends and love to play and explore together. We were born outside in their neighborhood and they were nice enough to take us in until we can find our forever home. Actually, Emo is my nephew, he is my sister's little boy...
We take a little time to get used to new people and would do best in a quiet house, but once we get to know you, we are very loyal. Kitteh especially loves to be pet and have his cheeks rubbed. Emo is sometimes too busy exploring to be interested in being pet, but when Kitteh is being pet, Emo doesn't want to be left out. We both love to play with toys and we both especially love chasing the laser pointer and playing with the feather-on-a-string toy. We hope to find a home where we can both live together.

I came to Lucky Cat Rescue as a tiny kitten. I weighed less then one pound and had a human bottle feed me. Life was starting to look up, then the ultimate, I was adopted.
My life was great, I would call it blessed, everything I needed was provided to me, including love. The child in my home began showing allergy symptoms . I was surrendered to a local shelter. I was sad to leave my family. Thankfully my family brought my original paperwork (which showed I was adopted from Lucky Cat Rescue) and the shelter called Lucky Cat and asked if they wanted me back.
A Lucky Cat volunteer came the next day to pick me up. Once a Lucky Cat always a Lucky Cat. The shelter people were nice but I know I'm not a tiny kitten any more and it wouldn't be easy for me to find a home. I may not be a kitten but I like to play and I am very beautiful and I know how to love.
I have now found myself hoping to find a new Forever home. Might that be your home?
I like other cats, dogs and kids. Give me a feather toy and I'm yours for life. I'm a big boy, I have grown to get that warm feeling when I get big love.

Hi, I was abandoned, thrown from the car while still in my carrier. Luckily, someone got me to Lucky Cat where they tell me I will find a new life with someone who will love me and never abandon me again.

I have been called sweet, I know I am loving and very much enjoy companionship as well as occasional alone time. I am extremely proud of my beautiful coat and go to great extremes to keep myself well groomed. I have also heard the humans say my large golden eyes are breath taking.
When my original owners moved, they just left me behind, taking the attitude I could survive on my own. Luckily, one of the neighbors knew better, knowing that I was barely surviving, they took me in from the busy streets where my life was in danger every day. They promised me they would find me a good home.
I love to play with the fuzzy mice and toys on a string. I am good while you are at work, sunning myself while napping, though I will look forward to your return since I enjoy people, in spite of what my previous owners did to me. Give me your love and attention and I'll be your BFF (I heard that means, best friend forever).

I had a very rough month here. I was lost, got found then was rescued. In this pic I just got shots so I may not be at my best.
I fought to find food outside, and I didn't like it (it's also too cold out there for me). I have been spoiled inside. I have been told I am sweet and loving, I want to be an indoor kitty with a window for sunlight. Do you want a kitty to watch TV with, I'm you're man.

Hi there! My name is Lake and my foster dad says I'm energetic, playful and very loving!! He knows I'm scared of people but I am great with other kitties!! People scare me but daddy keeps trying to make me less afraid of everyone. I'll get there eventually but it would be so much better to be with my forever humans. Daddy also tells me how soft and fluffy I am with my medium length hair. Won't you give me a chance?

I was born on a nice family's back porch. They asked Lucky Cat Rescue to take care of my mom and littermates until we could be adopted. Now my mother and 3 littermates have all found their forever homes. I'm still looking for mine. I'm a love bug. Watch your step though when I walk in front of you because I will suddenly drop down on the floor and roll on my back to get my belly scratched, My foster mom finds it rather cute. I love other cats, kids and big people but no dogs please. They scare me. I love to play.

My name is Annabelle and I am mom to 5 kittens on the kitten page (Scruffy, Leah, Rascal, Frankie and Cleo) As you can see I have been very busy but I'm ready to be a "kitten" again! Here's my story: Someone abandoned me at an apartment complex just before I was about to give birth to my bundle of cute kittens. I was big as a football when someone from Lucky Cat was nice enough to take me in so I could have my kittens in a warm safe place. I had five wonderful black and white kitties who are now ready for loving homes just like me. I am extremely loyal and friendly and I enjoy being pet all over. I love to sit by the window and watch the breeze blow through the trees and watch the birds come and go. I am still very skinny so I need to be fed often so I can gain a little weight!
